If you are going to visit Russia you need to have Russian visa.
Visa is issued by the consulate of the Russian Federation abroad. The
consulate issues a visa on the basis of the official invitation letter
(original or telex), or on the basis of the tourist voucher.
The invitation letter is given by the Passport and Visa Department of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation.
